Don’t you wish you didn’t have to be bad at things before you are good at them?!
I want to have fancy product photos. Every time Ali (the owner of Joys Collective Market) takes photos of my things and posts them I think, “Gah! She’s so good at this!”
I want to be Instagramable (I’m pretty sure that’s a word 🤷♀️).
Here’s the deal, though. I’m really not that good at taking product photos. I’m going to keep trying new things and sharing them even when they probably aren’t the best. Why? Because I have to do it poorly before I can be great.
I can’t expect to just magically be good at things. That’s unrealistic and sets yourself up for failure. I’m going to keep taking these photos and trying to make these cute little vignettes (had to Google how to spell that 🤦♀️) until I get better.
What are you practicing right now that you still aren’t great at but you keep on trying?
